Fabrication and CAD calculators

Each tool runs entirely in your browser. Nothing you type is sent anywhere, there is no account, and the DXF is generated on your own machine.

Six calculators covering the developments a fabrication shop redraws most often. Three unfold sheet metal: a single bend, a multi-bend open profile, and a cone or frustum — each returning flat length, bend positions and a cut blank from the flange datum you actually dimension to. Two handle pipe and plate layout: wrap-around templates for angled pipe ends and pipe-to-pipe saddles, and bolt circle (PCD) hole coordinates. One develops a rectangular hopper or duct transition into its four flat panels, centred or offset.

All of them work in millimetres or inches, show the geometry before you commit to it, and export DXF R12 with the unit recorded in the file. Bend allowance uses a K-factor you set and can see; nothing about thickness, springback or shop allowances is applied behind your back. Each tool lists what it does not account for — see the tool disclaimer — and how it is verified is on the Approach page.

Need this with your own rules attached?

The free tools are generic on purpose. If you keep redoing the same layout by hand with your own standards, seams, materials or drawing conventions, that is what a custom generator is for.
